During my recent visit to Kerala, I was elated to go and see the Konni Aanakkoodu that is dedicated to the care, training and the rehabilitation of elephants. To see these beautiful and massive creatures up close was such a spectacle for me and for my little girls. Though I had wished to have seen an elephant calf, I did not get the chance unfortunately. However, that didn't stop me from letting my creative inspiration flow onto the paper with this charming little guy. Here meet little Appu.
