I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
It's been a more than a year since the pandemic forced most of us indoors and in many places, we still continue to remain that way. With every passing day, this world has never failed to remind us how fragile life is and despite our best efforts we become increasingly captive by fear driven thoughts of the unknown. There is so much confusion and our mind is openly rushing to fill in gaps in desperation to find an answer to overcome this. If anything this pandemic has taught me is to draw strength from God's word, set your eyes firmly on Him and his finished work on the Cross and to stand up and walk boldly by faith in the Son of God. To Choose Faith over Fear is not a blind step into the unknown, but realizing and fully taking on what our Christ Jesus has accomplished for us through his finished work and stepping out into His truth and walking forward in His peace.
